Sinclair Refinery wins RLG’s Best of the Best Award for Improvement
For the past 2 years, my peers and I at RLG International have been working alongside the good people of Sinclair’s Rawlins, Wyoming refinery to improve process safety performance.
Two key Senior leaders, Refinery Manager Steve Sondergard and VP of SR&E Sue Sharp, engaged RLG and the entire workforce in their vision to move to first quartile in global rankings.
After two years of excellent Tier 1 and Tier 2 environmental event control and improvement, they won a global competition to receive RLG International’s Best of the Best Award. This Award goes annually to the companies that make some of the most important and impressive cultural turnarounds across RLG’s International portfolio of consulting work.
Steve, Sue, and others will represent Sinclair in Houston on October 27th for the Best of the Best dinner and ceremony.
Congratulations on some great leadership, unquestionable effort from the SWRC team, and to everyone in Rawlins, Wyoming.
